Deer Arrow started in 2015 with three sisters from Brisbane. They originally made wooden brooches and then started in the world of acrylic. Their brooches have limited numbers but are extremely detailed and beautiful which is why they are the second most popular brooch makers in Australia.

What’s special about Deer Arrow brooches?
Deer Arrow makes detailed brooches that are extremely popular. They have limited and non-limited brooches. This means that some pieces (labeled next to the piece) are limited meaning that once they are gone they will never be restocked, unless they are redone in another colour way. Non-limited pieces will be restocked at the next release where they will be available again, but after the second release they will never be available again. Something unique about Deer Arrow is that they do there releases at two different times. This means that on release day half of the amount of each brooch produced will be available for the first part of the release and the other in the second release. On release day there is usually a release at 12 pm AEST and another again at 7 pm AEST. This means that you have two chances to grab a brooch on the day and makes it fairer for all the broochies working throughout the day that cannot attend the first release.

Deer Arrow brooches are between $60 to $65 AUD each but sometimes a bit more or less depending on the size of the brooch or whether it’s a set.
How fast do they sell out?
Deer Arrow is known for selling out fast. Some pieces can sell out in less than one minute, where slower pieces take around 5 minutes. It is always a rush to the checkout with them as brooches can fly out of your cart while going through the checkout or adding more pieces to your cart.
How many of each brooch is made?
Deer Arrow always varies the amount produced depending on the piece. Some pieces have less than 50 made whereas others have over 280 made. You can find out more on their archive.
How collectable are these brooches?
Deer Arrow are very collectable, there are always people seeking out past pieces and are very easy to trade and sell. Some pieces can sell at a high price (well over $100) and be snatched in minutes, where others do not go up as much in value. It is very uncommon for a Deer Arrow brooch to be worth than the original price though. It is also important to note that because they do recolours of particular pieces come designs are extremely collectable. An example of this is the Diego dragon brooch. So far he has been made in eight colours but he is one of most sought out brooch as well as being one of the most collectable with many trying to get the full set.. Some people are lucky enough to have all eight were others only have two or three.
