Lea Stein brooches were originally produced in the mid to late 20th century and are therefore not produced to this day. She has a range of animal pieces, as well as shapes and portraits, many having patterned or floral acrylics. Her designs have become so popular and well known that there are now many fakes out there that look almost exactly like the original. Some original Erstwilder brooches look very similar to Lea Stein brooches such as their cats.
